Viewing FLASH - Hearing Large Wavs - Tips

Hi, Depending on the model and age of your Webtv, it may be hard to see what I call "little Flash movies". Sometimes if you reload the page, the Flash movie will work. How? Hold down 'cmd' and hit 'r' several times. Or back out of the page and then immediately click the link again and go back. If the above doesn't work, you must clear your 'cache'. How? Directions: Things to try if you are having trouble getting Flash to load: 1. Try watching the Flash when first you log-on. 2. If you've been online for awhile, try clearing you 'recents' cache. To do that go to the Home page, click 'Switch users'. Then go back to your email account and immediately look at the Flash. 3. Turn OFF the Webtv and wait a few minutes, then log-on and go right to the Flash. 4. If all else fails, unplug your Webtv from the wall outlet or surge protector. Wait 5 minutes and then log back on! Go right to the Flash! *************************** Some older models of Webtv will not be able to see the Flash animations no matter what they try. Sorry! I make my pages on a newer Sony Webtv Plus. Some of the newer Flash animations I can't see no matter what I try. I DON't use a Flash animation unless I CAN see it with my Webtv. I have NO way to check if Classics or older Plus Webtv's can see it. Soooo, try the above and I hope it works for you! Terri PS. One last thought - if the Flash stops part way thru, watch it a 2nd time and it may play all the way thru. LARGE WAVS - Let the Song played til it stops. Then replay it. The 2nd time it should work right.
